Shoot Preparation
Ready before we arrive. Let the property have the spotlight. For property photography, we prefer the space ready and unoccupied at your appointment time so we can move efficiently and give every room our full attention. Share access details when booking, and give us a heads-up if anyone needs to be there.
A little prep. A smoother shoot. Download the checklist, share it with whoever is preparing the property, and check things off before we arrive.
One-page PDF. Ready to print.
Interior
Clear the distractions. Clean rooms, make beds and straighten pillows, furniture and decor. Clear kitchen counters, sinks and bathroom surfaces of everyday clutter. Put away bins, cleaning supplies, cords and personal items you do not want photographed. Open blinds where appropriate and make sure lights are working.
Exterior
Give the property room. Move vehicles away from the driveway and main exterior views when possible. Put away hoses, bins, tools and loose outdoor items. Straighten outdoor furniture and prepare pool or patio areas. Share any exterior features or viewpoints you want included.
Vacant Land + Aerial
Help us find the parcel. Provide the approximate acreage and Parcel ID / APN when available. Include gate codes, access directions and the best point of entry. Identify road frontage, trails, water features and requested aerial viewpoints. Tell us about any areas that should or should not be photographed.
Rentals + Commercial
Coordinate the space. Arrange access to the rooms, units and amenities included in your coverage. Coordinate around guests, customers or occupants when possible. Prepare furnishings, displays and branded details for the shoot. Confirm any restrictions or permissions for shared amenities ahead of time.
Before the Appointment
Make access easy. Confirm the property location and appointment details. Share lockbox, gate or entry instructions and an on-site contact when needed. Keep pets secure and let occupants know when we will arrive. Contact us ahead of time if access, readiness or the requested coverage changes.
